Who wants to help make the Dutch work time policies better known in the United States, where virtually no one has heard of them? Charles Siegel, an American who runs an environmental organization called the Preservation Institute, is working on making a website: “I think it is essential for us in the United States to start working shorter hours and consuming less, in order to reduce the damage we do to the world’s environment.” He wrote a short paper about this. Charles would like to get 6 to 9 people to tell their stories about how they have improved their lives by taking advantage of the right to choose part-time work. Participating only takes a 10-minute-phone call. If you want to participate, please react to this post or send me an e-mail. We appreciate your help, and I think we can make a difference by working on this web site.
